GOD’S MANIFESTATION & DECLARATION OF HIS NAME: [SHOW OF HIS POWER.]

[PART 3]

Until you receive the revelation of the Godhead, you really don’t know who God is. You will not understand what He meant when He said: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” [Rev.1:8]

 

Mary knew whose son Jesus is. The Angel Gabriel made it clear to Mary. [LUKE 1:34-35]

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”This should be clear to us that GOD and The HOLY GHOST is the same person.

[Mat. 1:18]

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”

[Mat. 1:20]

“... the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

Now who spoke from heaven at Jesus Baptismal service at The Jordan River? [LUKE 3:21-22]

“Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.”

Either The Holy Ghost, or The Father of The Lord Jesus Christ is one and the same person or Jesus has two Fathers. If The Trinity Doctrine is right, then Jesus has two Fathers. If The Father of The Lord Jesus Christ is the Holy Ghost, as shown by the above scriptures, then The Trinity Doctrine is wrong in defining God. It would be fair to conclude that The Trinitarians don’t know the God of The Bible. So would it also be with believers of The Two Lords doctrine

 

CAN GOD MANIFEST HIS PRESENCE ON EARTH AND SPEAK FROM HEAVEN AT THE SAME TIME?

The answer is yes! [NEHEMIAH 9:13 -14]

“Thou camest down also upon Mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

And madest known unto them thy holy Sabbath and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:”

What happened on Mount Sinai is exactly the same thing as what happened at the Jordan River. You cannot split The God of Abraham, and The God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob into three Gods. He is one and the same person operating in three offices of FATHER, SON and Holy Ghost.

 

THE INFINITE REVELATION AND MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S NAME TO HIS CREATION:

To Isaiah The Prophet : [Isaiah 9:6]

“... and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

During the conquest of Canaan; the Lord told Israel, behold I send an Angel before you. Obey his voice because my Name is in him: For the purpose of achieving victory for an obedient people, He manifested the following attributes of Himself:

(a). He became an enemy of their enemies and an adversary to their adversaries;

(b). He blessed their bread, or means of livelihood;

(c). He took sickness away from their midst;

(d). He sent his fear before their enemies and caused them to run;

(e). He took part in fighting against their enemies, sending hornets to drive them away;

God proved all these promises to them:

[JOSHUA 5:13-15] – [JOSHUA 6:1]

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, [Art] thou for us, or for our adversaries?

And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy. And Joshua did so.

[JOSHUA 6:1]

“Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.”

 

The manifestation of God’s Name to Rahab

The manifestation of this kind of power is God’s way making known who He is, and what He can do.

How He does it, and whichever way He does it. When the two spies met Rahab at Jericho, this is what they learnt through her testimony:

[JOSHUA 2:8-11]

“And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that [were] on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

And as soon as we had heard [these things], our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he [is] God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.”

When God displays his power and authority, it will always be there to be recognised. Skeptics will always be skeptics, but they will finally pay for their scepticism. He manifested His Name to RAHAB. She recognised and accepted it. She and all her Father’s household became beneficiaries of her positive attitude toward Him.

 

Manifestation of His Name to heathens, toward the end time

God has already prophesied that he is going to manifest His Name to heathens at the battle of ARMAGEDDON. [EZEKIEL 39:1-7]

“Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured.

Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.”

 

How is he going to do it?

The same way he used Moses in Egypt, at Pharaoh’s time, or Joshua with The Amorites, and with The Canaanites and with the Amalekites. The means is still the same: [EZEKIEL 38:18-23]

“And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD [that] my fury shall come up in my face.

For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

22    And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.”

This will be The God of The Bible, making His word a reality for all eyes in the entire world to see. It won’t be a time for debate about which God is the true God. He will prove Himself as who He says He is!

Don’t wait for that day and hour. It will be too late. Lamentations won’t help. Mercy will be over.

HOW HAS HE REVEALED HIMSELF IN OUR DAY AND AGE?

Now He has revealed Himself byThe highest Name in Heaven, on earth, and in the earth beneath; JESUS CHRIST; [PHILIPPIANS 2:8-11]

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

By this Name He is:

       -The Way the Truth and the Life for whosoever believes.

       -The Saviour of Sinners no matter how bad a sinner you are.  

       -Healer of all diseases without exception.

       -The Good Shepherd who leads you to still waters and good pasture.

       - The Light of the world for those groping in spiritual darkness.

       - The ever present I AM for your need now.

       - The Resurrection and the Life, once dead but is alive forever more.

       - Alpha and The Omega.

       - The wisdom of God made flesh.

       - God in human flesh.

       - The bread of life, by whom we live.

        -  The spring of Living waters and fountain of divine love of God.

       - Your guide, comforter and shelter in a weary land.

       - Jehovah Jireh, provider of our needs.

       - Jehovah Shalom, The Lord our peace.

       - The giver of his “Lamb Nature” meekness, gentleness, goodness, love, peace, joy, longsuffering, faith, temperance.

       - The Bride Groom to The glorious End Time Gentile Bride who is holy without spot, wrinkle or blemish.

If you miss him by this Name, you will surely not miss Him by who He will be revealing himself as judge of the wicked, during the great tribulation [Rev.6:12-17].

“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

And said to the mountains and rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”
