[1Cor. 12:9]: “To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit.”

[1Cor.12: 28]: “AndGod hath set some in the church, firstly apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.”

[1Thess. 5:23]: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your WHOLE SPIRIT and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Let us remind ourselves again of “what a gift is.” According to Scriptures and reiteration of the revealed word, this is what a gift is:

64-0212 - WHEN THEIR EYES WERE OPENED, THEY KNEW HIM:

154. A gift is not something like you take a knife and chop something. That isn't a gift. A gift is to get yourself out of the way so the Holy Spirit can use you. And that's the only thing I have to do, is get William Branham from the scene, see, so God can come on.   

This definition applies to all the nine spiritual gifts, of [1Cor. 12: 8-10] as well as the five-fold ministerial gifts of

[Eph. 4:11].Now concerning healing, generally speaking, all scriptures attest to this one thing; that God is the only and sole healer of all diseases and sicknesses.

[Psm 103:1-3]

1. Bless the Lord O my soul: and all that is within me bless his holy name.

2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; ...

[Psm. 147:3] “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

[Exo.15:26]

26. And said, if thou will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE

 [Isaiah 53:5]:

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”  

[Mat. 8:16];

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick”

[Acts 10: 38]:

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were possessed of the devil; for God was with him.”

[Rev. 22:2]:

1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there THE TREE OF LIFE, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Satan does not have one speck to perform any healing, whatsoever.

In the days of the showdown with Moses in Egypt, [Exo. 9:8-11], JANNES and JAMBRES could not imitate Moses in bringing boils and blains (blisters) upon beasts and men and taking it away.

• Boils and blains came upon Jannes and Jambres and they were not able to take it away.
• Boils and blains came upon all Egyptians but theycould not to take it away.
• Boils and blains came upon all their beasts but they were not able to take it away.

This confirmed what Jesus said, that Satan has no power to cast out devils because he cannot cast himself out.  That would be self defeating.

Speaking of the Pharisees and the Sadducees who were vessels of the devil, Jesus said:

[Mt. 12: 25-26];

25. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, EVERY KINGDOM divided against itself is brought to desolation, and EVERY CITY or HOUSE divided against itself shall not stand:

26. And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

We are still establishing the concept of “what a gift is” and “how it operates” in the church of God.

We are examining it with “gifts of healings” in mind.

JESUS CHRIST; THE SON OF GOD; EMMANUEL; THE WORD MADE FLESH; HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT HIMSELF: [John 5:19]

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, verily, verily I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what He seeth The Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth The Son likewise.”

Extending that pattern to his disciples, he told them the same thing:[John 15:5]

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”

Jesus was saying, if you do not have the ability to yield to me, you cannot correctly manifest any one of the nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. A gift is not a possession; but ability to yield, that is, giving way to God to use you to do what he wills.

• You have to learn to know how to yield to God, and be sure it is God, and NOT THE DEVIL.
• That is why The Prophet advised us not to crave for gifts; because Satan can impersonate any of them.
• You don’t guess, imagine, presume, or probe into it.
• You either know for sure that the Holy Spirit has shown you, or you keep still and just go on

with your ordinary faith,  in his written Word of promise; which include praying for the sick, anointing them with oil, laying on of hands, and believing you received what you asked for.

207...   And when God comes into us, and sets us in the Church, He puts gifts and things in the Church, to operate His Being. If God is that infinite God, then He heals the sick. He can raise the dead. He can cleanse the lepers, make the blind to see. He can give visions. He can do all kinds of these things, working through His Church, because it's God in you. There is the Church.

• In his three and half year ministry, It was God in Jesus Christ operating himself, healing all manner of sickness and diseases. That was God, the Invisible Holy Spirit, working through his own visible Tabernacle, Jesus the Christ, the Word made flesh.
• In the Book of Acts, [Acts. 10:38] it is Jesus Christ, tabernacled in the Apostles, doing the same works the Father did through him. The Apostles knew how to yield to him;  and he worked through them.
• Today, he also needs yielded vessels for him to continue the same works as it was in the Book of Acts. That ability to yield ourselves to him is the gift he is looking for today.

THE THREE MAJOR EFFECTS OF SIN UPON HUMANITY AFTER THE FALL IN EDEN:  

(A). The HUMAN SOUL, was MARRED by UNBELIEF.

(B). The innocent HUMAN SPIRIT, was PERVERTED BY HYBRIDIZATION.

(C). The Hybridized HUMAN BODY became SUSCEPTIBLE to all sickness, diseases and infirmities.

When Sin opened the gate of all diseases and sickness, upon ALL LIVING THINGS, God did not only step forward and manifested himself as JEHOVAH RAPHA, but also as EL SHADDAI; (the BREASTED ONE).

Oh, I'm so glad tonight to know that I know Him in the power of His resurrection by His grace when He calls from the dead. Oh, my.

THE HUMAN BODY is under the assault of 39 Major diseases.  But with his stripes we are healed. [Isaiah 53: 5]. Jesus was beaten 40 stripes, less one.

Paul was beaten the same number of stripes in his persecution for Christ sake. [2 Cor. 11:24]

“Of the Jews five times received Ifortystripessaveone.”

29...  "We seen a Man Who could call a dead man from the grave, Who could do all these wonderful miracles, and see Him hang on the cross with great spittle all over His face, with His beard and face bleeding, where the soldiers jerked out His beard, and spit in His face. And seen Him with His back beat to a pulp where thirty and nine stripes…" They couldn't put forty.

30. And did you know there are THIRTY AND NINE MAJOR DISEASES in the world today. THIRTY AND NINE STRIPES across His back with a cat-of-nine-tails, leather sockets in it with lumps of lead, beating till His ribs showed through, "all My bones stare at Me," He said in the Psalms…

• Here are models of the kind of whips used  on Christ Jesus back to inflict THE 39 STRIPES.
• These are leather belts with lead balls at the end of each belt with a hook on each lead ball.

• That is, ONE STRIPE for each major disease. Your Healing was paid for. It’s yours.
• To cover all three realms of the human make up; God sent “GIFTS OF HEALINGS”, plural!

19... Did you notice this, brother, sister? In the Bible, in [First Corinthians 12] where the gifts are made known, when it comes to healing, it's in the plural, "gifts of healing?" But prophecy is one. But when it comes to healing, it's "gifts of healing," many different ways God does things.

20. And He's always, since the beginning, as far as we know, has had a way for healing, Divine healing for His Church. Isn't that right? In the journeys in the wilderness, plumb back to the days of ABRAHAM, how He healed SARA of being barren. He's been the miraculous working God all down through the ages.

And if He has been down through the ages, and then come in here to the closing of all ages, could He belittle Himselfin weakening His power and say there's no more to it? God forbid. ... Back in those days, why there wasn't as many people. The gifts weren’t needed as much as they are now.

• There is need for the healing of both, THE SOUL OF MAN; THE SPIRIT and THE BODY.
• But the GREATEST NEED FOR THE HEALING IS FOR THE SICKEST BODY, the BODY OF THE LORD JESUS – THE CHURCH.

12. Now, notice just a few moments. I want to say this before I start preaching, that the greatest need of healing tonight, and the sickest body that I know of in all of the world is the body of the Lord Jesus—the church. Oh, it is horribly sick. It is broke up and scattered. It needs a healing. May God send the Holy Spirit in such a power, till the whole body of Christ will be brought together, bond with love and unity. Until then you will see things happen that you never thought of before. Jesus will come, and it'll all be over.

• Christ body is sick with DISUNITY
• It is BROKEN UP
• It is SCATTERED
• It needs THE BOND OF LOVE
• It is INFESTED with POISONOUS DOCTRINES; MISINTERPRETATIONS; MAN’S IDEAS; etc.
• Parts of this Body are MISGUIDED by BLIND GUIDES, who need eyesalve badly.
• Some are LED by LEADERSHIP with SPIRITUAL BLEMISHES.
• Or it is INFILTRATED by WOLVES IN SHEEPSKIN.
• Some are BEING FEED, not with SHEEP FOOD, but WEEDPILE OF LOCO WEED; IRON WEED; OLD WILLOWS; and WILD GUORDS

As our ordinary Medical Doctors do at work, the PROPHET OF MALACHI 4:5-6 has done the following:

(1). He has diagnosed the diseases affecting this very sick Body of Christ – The Church.

(2). He has given us the Word prescription remedy

(3). God Himself has provided, his ordained, qualified, God-sent dispensing nurses; who include: [APOSTLES; PROPHETS; EVANGELISTS; PASTORS & TEACHERS] to give his body the fitting ante-dotes that keeps it healthy spiritually.

[1Thess. 2:3-8]

3. For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

4. But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as

 Pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts
5. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as you know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

6. Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.

7. But we were GENTLE among you, EVEN AS A NURSE CHERISHES her children:

6. So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

• Paul is showing himself as THAT CARING; CHOSEN NURSE who is fit in dispensing God’s spiritual medicinal prescription to keep his body the Church, spiritually healthy.
• If you are not this kind of the dispenser of God’s gospel, then you are a contributor to the sick state of Christ Body – the Church.
• Sooner or later, the folly of such dispensers will be made known.
• Jesus Christ will not stand by watching his Body grazing on a weed pile forever.
• She, like RUTH was called to glean from BOAZ FIELD so that she can feed on sheep food.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE MY DEAR ADVENTUROUS BRETHREN

31... Therefore, it's the duty of we as pastors to see that this flock is fed and fed right, because God Almighty will require your blood at our hands. At the day of the judgment we'll answer for you. So seeing this great tremendous responsibility that's placed upon us, and God has given us people who love us and come to hear us, then we should spend our time constantly watching for your souls. And when the first little thing we see rising up that's not right, it's our duty to come to that person, because we are shepherds watching that sheep. And if I see that sheep eating on a weed that will kill it, I better drive it away from that weed, jerk the weed right away from it so it cannot get to it because it'll kill the sheep.

32. And there's known in the western countries a weed that an animal can eat; it's called locoweed. I don't know whether anybody ever heard of it or not, a locoweed. Yes. A horse can eat that, and you just can't do nothing with him. He just becomes an outlaw. You can't put a saddle on him, and you can't do nothing with him. It's called locoweed. And you must keep your stock away from that weed. And if it'll cause a horse to eat something… If a horse, rather, it'll eat something that throws him into this condition, into this spasm, why, you would be a very poor cowboy to let your horseeat a weed, locoweed. It shows that you don't care. And a real pastor, a real servant of Christ will be a poor example of Christ to see the sheep eatsomething that's going to drive him away, or make him a outlaw before God, a breaker of His Word, a breaker of His commandments. You shouldn't do that. You should watch that very closely.

• Prevention is better than cure dear adventurous “Christian” brother
• Do not ignore this precious counsel of our Eleazar, William Marrion Branham.
• You will avoid living with scars of unbelief, when you have better options to have.
• Do not gamble with weeds, no matter how appealing they are to your intellect.
• Do not gamble with weeds, no matter how appealing they are to your eyes.
• If Eve had known what falling into that which was appealing meant, she would not have played gambling game.
• If she had known it would cause the first grave tomb on their compound, she would have avoided feeding from that tree.
• The sickest body,
• She needs healing very badly from El Shaddai.  
• The  healing of the Soul was God’s first priority.
• Before any disease struck Adam’s flesh or Eve’s flesh, God provided an IMMEDIATE  ATONEMENT [Slain Lamb] for sin, [UNBELIEF] which brought death [SEPARATION; DISFELLOWSHIP] with God.
• That same ATONEMENT included DIVINE HEALING for their perverted spirit and their disease-sickness- prone bodies.
• 1)THEIR CONSCIENCE: was now awakened to knowing nakedness. Now they know Good and EVIL; Shame and guilt; fear and insecurity, hiding away. Now they know what is approved and what is condemned, what is right and what is wrong
• 2).   REASONING: By Accepting the Serpent Reasoning against God’s Word, their faculty         of reasoning was now activated to go negatively against God’s Word.
• 3).  IMAGINATION: Their imagination broke loose into forbidden grounds, of evil and        wickedness.
• 4).   AFFECTION:  The quality of love dropped from AGAPE LOVE to such things as low as INORDINATE LOVE, and VILE AFFECTIONS, spoken of in the Bible.

“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinateaffection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:”

[Rom.1:26]

     “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change        the natural use into that which is against nature:”

 

5). MEMORY: Human memory like all the 5 faculties of the Human Spirit was also       affected. Man can now forget God’s word, commandments statutes, ordinances       etc.

      We can also use our memory to remember and retain evil thoughts in our hearts.

Because of sin effect on BODY;  SOUL and SPIRIT, there is provision for the healing of all the three realms of the human life. That is why the Gifts of healings is mentioned in plural as the Prophet showed.

NOW WHAT IS THE GIFT OF HEALING?

By the same understanding, it is one’s ability to yield to God so that one can receive the healing God has already given whether to:

A). YOUR SOUL – As the New Birth or

B). YOUR SPIRIT – As Sanctification

C). YOUR PHYSICAL BODY – Being made whole.

Whichever realm it is needed, it is to be received by faith, as one recognises it, and yields to him for it.

To be healed means:

• To be cured; to be made whole; healthy or well.
• It also means to be returned to a state of a sound mind.
• To be uncorrupted in true and sound doctrine.

Very often, when we talk of being made whole, we limit it to Physical healing alone; Such as:      OUR FLESH: Boils, cancer, heart attack, dermatitis, head ache; glaucoma, TB, Flue, fever, leprosy etc., etc.

BONES DISEZSES: Bone fractures, dislocation, ligament tear, etc.

NERVOUS SYSTEM: Stroke, nervousness,

BODY ORGANS: Liver, Kidneys, heart, ears, eyes, lungs, brain, etc., etc.

BLOOD:Hepatitis; Diabetes; blood clot. Blood poisoning etc.

But now, because of the FULL REVELATION OF THE WORD, our UNDERSTANDING needs to be corrected from our FORMER MISCONCEPTIONS and IGNORANCE.

Since he ascended and became our HIGH PRIEST, this is one of the several things he has been interceding for:

Raised there today as an Intercessor with His own Blood to make INTERCESSION UPON THE IGNORANCE OF THE PEOPLE. Now, oh, that's the One I'm depending on. He still was covered with bleach, the bleach of the forgiveness of sin.

Now THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT in us he guides us into all truth in his Word:

62. How we could go into details of that and break that down, of how that WHEN IT MAKES INTERCESSION FOR OUR IGNORANCE. Sometimes when we got the Holy Ghost, we ignorantly stagger into something. The Holy Spirit's there to make advocate for us. He is our Advocator. He stands there; He's our Attorney. He stands there and pleads for us. We don't plead for ourself, because the Holy Ghost in us pleads for us. The Holy Spirit giving utterance, sometimes with words you can't understand, and HE MAKES INTERCESSIONS FOR US.

Now the Bible knowledge has given us to understand that when Christ comes he expects to find ourBODY; SPIRIT and SOUL whole; preserved and blameless; without spot or wrinkle

[1Thess. 5:23]

Let us now move to [PART 10 B]; where we are going to get involved in some interactive exercises that will give us a better , clearer understanding of the various types of healings the different members of our bodies receive from God’s redemptive work on the cross of Calvary.
