FIVE DEFINITE IDENTIFICATIONS OF THE TRUE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD:

According to Amos: [Amos 3:7] “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

The prophet of our day has likened himself unto a TELEGRAPH OR TELEGRAM CARRIER. The sender of these Telegrams is God Himself. The recipients are us: [You & Me] You go and check the details from the message he preached ON SEPT. 11. 1960. Its Title is:

“Five Definite Identifications Of The True Church Of The Living God.” In a paraphrased form, and making sure I don’t change its meaning, these are the Five Identifications he stated:

1: IT IS MADE UP OF THE CALLED OUTS FROM DENOMINATIONALISM.

2: ITS FOUNDER & HEAD IS JESUS CHRIST

3: HER MESSAGE IS WHAT HE COMMISSIONED AND, IT WEAVES THROUGH THE ENTIRE BIBLE:

4: BEING BORN AGAIN IS A MUST TO BE A PART OF IT.

5: YOU CANNOT GET TO HEAVEN WITHOUT BEING A PART OF IT.

1: IT IS MADE UP OF THE CALLED OUTS FROM DENOMINATIONALISM. 

As Abraham was called out from his natural country, his father’s house, his kindred; so are they that are part of The True Church of the Living God today. As Israel was called out of bondage in Egypt; these are they who have been called out from sin slavery and worldliness.

31 Now, Israel was the people of God until (We find in Acts 7:38, if you're putting it down.) that then they were called the church of God, because they were called by God out of Egypt, out of the world, out away from other churches, out away from other religions to walk with God alone. And now, the church of God today is the same thing: called out of everything of the world, called out of every religious cult, called out of every religious denomination, called out of every religious organization to walk with God; not being governed by a bishop, but being governed by Christ in this Messianic Kingdom that we live in. Christ is the King. Christ is the One.

They who are a part of this New Testament Church are them who are called out of modern day Denominationalism according to [REVELATION 18:1-5]

1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

These are serious reasons in God’s eyes to give a call for people to come out from. Taking heed is an individual affair. But this church will hear this call and will respond accordingly.

John The Baptist was its first preacher: He was outside of the denominations of his day, The Pharisees and The Sadducees, The Libertines, and Herodians. [MATTHEW 3:3-8]

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

He was the one qualified person to Baptise Jesus Christ, whom he also introduced as The Lamb of God. The 12 Disciples Jesus Chose were called out of the Religious system of the day. And that system was very much opposed to Him and those Disciples:

[ACTS 4:17-20]

17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

That was The True Church in its infancy. It was always hated by the contemporary religious system which was always in collusion with the ruling system of the day. The pattern is the same in all ages.

 

Paul The Apostle: was another called out many years later. He was a zealous Pharisee. This is his personal Testimony: [GALATIANS 1:13-16]

13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Paul was a called out, from Traditions of the Jewish people as well as their religious system.

[ACTS 22:6-10]

6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.

7 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

10 And I said, what shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

Presumers cannot fake this calling. It is real and true. Impersonators will not last. In his day he had as many as 70 who claimed they were called. But when he began to teach them the solid truth about who he was, many ceased to walk with him: [JOHN 6:64-70]

64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

65 And he said, therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

66 From that [time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.

69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Although Judas continued to walk with Jesus physically, spiritually he was not following His Word. He was a hypocrite. He acted like a believer yet down in his heart, he did not follow His WORD FAITHFULLY. He was the Church Treasurer and the Bible says he was a thief. He went out and cast out devils, healed the sick, but yet a hypocrite at heart. He came in to Jesus flock but he did not come out from his hypocrisy, his pretentions as a believer, but finally his true colours showed up.

[MATTHEW 27:3-5]

3 THEN JUDAS, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, what [is that] to us? See thou [to that].

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

You cannot be a part of This Church, and be untrue to His Word. You cannot have one leg in the world and the other in the Church of The Living God. It is a total coming out, or not at all. Every man’s folly will be made manifest when it riches maturity. The fruit of the life you are manifesting now is of the seed sown years ago. It is coming to maturity. If you allowed some preacher to sow tares or hybridized seed into your heart, and you didn’t recognise it early enough to weed it out, then you are now reaping the harvest because it has matured. Judas repentance was too late. He was warned earlier on several times but he paid no attention. Listen to warnings even if they are coming from someone you don’t like, you better listen to every warning. You can still check that very warning by the word. And you may be grateful it was given to you.

2: ITS FOUNDER & HEAD IS JESUS CHRIST

[MATTHEW 16:18]

18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Jesus from the beginning of His ministry declared that it is His Church, and HE WAS GOING TO BE ITS BUILDER. And hell shall never hinder its existence and growth. That is The True Church of The Living God.

PAUL THE APOSTLE reaffirmed the Words of The Lord Jesus Christ in several of His Epistles: [EPHESIANS 5:24]

24. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

If your head is some great Theologian in some great city on this planet, know for sure that you are not part of The Church of The Living God. He will not share The Glory of The Headship of His Church with any man. If you cannot have another man to share headship over your wife, how do you expect Jesus Christ to share headship over His Church with ANOTHER?

[COLOSSIANS 1:19]

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.

[Acts 20:28]

“28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Paul warned shepherds to beware that: it is The Church of God; That Christ purchased it. And That the Price was His own Blood. You cannot have any claim of being in it if you cannot accept being washed by the washing of His Word. That means obeying his word. If The Word says: “Be Holy for I am Holy” and you continue to live in fornication, in adultery, to lie, to cheat others, to lust after women, to drink, to smoke, to dress immodestly, to misinterpret God’s Word, to take the Name of The Lord in vain, to sware, and still go to some lodge which you call church and console yourself that you are a member of that True Church of The Living God, forget it!

[REVELATION 21:8]

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

THE HEADQUARTERS of this church is in heaven: Jesus while speaking to the Samaritan woman she actually told him where the Headquarters of worship was as far as she was taught:

[JOHN 4:20-24]

20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

21 JESUS SAITH UNTO HER, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

23 But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

I feel sorry for those who have either been falsely persuaded or inadvertently taught that their Headquarters is somewhere in some great City in Europe; others in America, some in the Middle East, Some in Africa; and some in Asia. It will be fitting to apply Paul’s correction which he used on other similar issues elsewhere that:

[GALATIANS 5:7-9]

7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

8 This persuasion [cometh] not of him that calleth you.

We must watch against all false persuasions of men. If their words contradict one scripture, it is a wrong persuasion. If you want to be sure, you are in the True Church of The Living God, then better take sides with the identification of The Prophet Messenger of Mal. 4:5-6. Go back and read His God given Message, entitled: “FIVE DEFINITE IDENTIFICATION OF THE TRUE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD”

[HEBREWS 12:22-24]

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.

3: HER MESSAGE IS WHAT HE COMMISSIONED AND IT WEAVES THROUGH THE ENTIRE BIBLE:

The truth she holds about God is that He is one God, and besides Him there is no other.

[DEUTERONOMY 6:4] “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:”

Jesus in His Three and half years of ministry confirmed that Old Testament teaching about Himself. When asked about God’s first Commandment, this is His response:

[MARK 12:28-31]

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 

To be in This True Church is to believe that there is only one God, who has manifested Himself in Three Offices at different Times to achieve His expected promises he had made in His Word. 

Fatherhood was his first Old Testament office which describes his relationship with humanity. In that office, he operated through Prophets. That was God above us. In His spirit nature, no man saw him, or touched him. But that was the beginning of revelation of himself to man. He sometimes manifested Himself as a whirl wind; or a cloud; or as burning fire, or as Angel etc. Then He began revealing himself through prophets.

Sonship was his next office, when God himself became flesh and dwelt among us: “IMMANUEL” The Word became flesh in the womb of a virgin called Mary. That flesh form of The Word, was called The Son of God, and later on The Son of Man. That was not a second Person. But That was The Body in which God The invisible Holy Spirit was tabernacled. In that form, he came to die, for man to redeem man back to himself. Spirit cannot die. But he put on mortal flesh so that he may taste death and die in our stead. That wasn’t another God. It was the same Holy Spirit, veiled in human flesh, and is called The Son of man.

Holy Spirit is God Himself, invisible, almighty, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, infinite, eternal, without beginning, without ending of days. Jesus told the Samaritan woman “God is a Spirit”[Jn.4:24] Concerning The Godhead, this is her message to give to the rest of the world. She does not teach any Theology of man, but the revelation of God by His spirit and confirmed by His Word.

This Church had a commission from Jesus Christ, before his death, and burial.

[MATTHEW 10:7-8]

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. In another place Jesus commissioned:

[JOHN 14:12-13]

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

This is her commission and message. After His Resurrection and before his ascension this also, was the message he gave them: [MARK 16:14-18]

14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This Church of the Living God has a message which brings Sinners back to God; cleanses them up and makes them ready for the Rapture.

Repentance: Sinners must be made to acknowledge unbelief; understand its consequences and see the need to turn away from it. It is not a response to a passionate plea, or being begged to come to God, or to avoid hell. It is sincere remorse over our sinful nature and a sincere desire to live right again.

Remission of Sin: The sinner must understand why it is necessary to be baptized by imersion in much water and in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ. [According to Acts. 2: 37-38] By calling upon The Name of OUR Lord Jesus Christ, we are identifying ourself with him as our sacrificial Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

19-2 Peter give them an eternal prescription on the day of Pentecost. He said, "Repent every one of you, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost; for this prescription is to you, and to your children, and to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." That's right. It's an eternal prescription. Now, some quack druggist could get a hold of that and kill you. See? Certainly. You know, there's so much poison in a prescription to poison the germ; and the doctor knows just how much your body can stand. If he over poisoned It, it would kill you. And if you haven't got enough of it, then what would it do? Would do you no good to take the medicine. He knows what your body can stand. Now, and that's the way these prescription of God is. No matter how much somebody else says it must be done this way or that way, don't you believe it. When you follow the Word exactly to the letter, that's it. That's right. Hold on to It.

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost: That also is part of its Message. John The Baptist was The First to Preach it at The Jordan River. He himself was first filled with The Holy Ghost when he was only 6 months in the womb. Jesus preached it and fulfilled it. The disciple preached it and Jesus confirmed it. It is to go on as long as God is still calling. If any church changes this and preaches something different, it is under a curse.

“109. ... If he's an archangel, if he's a bishop, if he's a general overseer, if he's Doctor So-and-so, whoever he is, if he doesn't preach the water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, doesn't preach the restoration of the gifts, the coming of Christ, all these things, let him be accursed. If he tries to take any of this Word here and say it was for another day and place it over on some new fandangled idea that we learned off of some seminary, let him be accursed.”

“I AM THE LORD God and I CHANGE NOT” He is the same yesterday and today and forever.

4: YOU MUST BE A BORN AGAIN TO BE A PART OF IT.

The Church of the Living God is entered into by The New Birth. [John 3:1-8] was Jesus first doctrine spoken to Nicodemus. It is like talking about entering into another country: In the natural you need a Passport, a Visa, and Customs Clearance to be allowed entry into another country. Our first Birth into this World was perverted. The serpent was the first misinterpreter who introduced it to Eve. God allowed it as a permissive will to repopulate the world. Now a new Birth is required to be a member of this Church.

But the same devil is still at his work of perversion even today: Today he tells us several different things:

a. Just Join the Church. Have your name written on our church list. Have a hand shake with our Bishop and you are now declared as born again.

b. In some lodges, you may be asked to attend a catechism class, take a test, and you are a member.

c. With others; when you pray and break into speaking in Tongues, you got it.

d. Today some End Time Message Churches believe and teach that when you believe, you got it.

113. ... The church was inaugurated on the day of Pentecost by repentance, baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ and a promise to receive the Holy Ghost. "These signs shall follow them that believe..."

[ROMANS 8:8-9]

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

[I JOHN 3:9-10]

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

5: YOU CANNOT GET TO HEAVEN WITHOUT BEING A PART OF THIS TRUE CHURCH.

As there are several gates to check you at arrival at the airport of any natural country, you are going into, so are there many scripture gate keepers to check you in or out as you try to enter His Heavenly Kingdom. Speaking to His Disciples as He was training and Teaching them about The Kingdom of Heaven;

In [John 14:6]

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Speaking to Nicodemus, a Pharisee and Teacher of The Law;

[John 3:5]

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

These 3 witnesses will testify either for or against you at the gate of Heaven.

[1John 5:7-9]

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

So be sure you are getting there through the right prescription: This is what it is how you get in:

I believe JEHOSHAPHAT advice to His subjects in his day is applicable to us also today:

[II CHRONICLES 20:21]

"And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."

Let us believe our God and The Prophet he sent, with The Message he declared to us.
