A Lived Voice!

A LIVED VOICE

TO THE CALLED-OUT OF THE LAODICEANS, PREACHERS AND LAITY.

A TESTIMONY OF CONTEMPORARIES AND EYE WITNESSES OF A MAN OF GOD

A POEM WRITTEN BY HIS “LITTLE FLOCK”

(The Branham Tabernacle, Jeffersonville Indiana.)

QUOTE FROM: RESTORATION OF BRIDE TREE:[JEFF. IN. 62-04-22]

“He's not a man of stature tall,

Nor lofty in his way;

He sounds himself no trumpet

As he goes from day to day.

Has no desire for wealth nor fame,

But none his place could fill;

He's just the way we want him,

Our own dear Brother Bill.

He teaches us with faithfulness

The undiluted Word,

No fancy ways, no love for praise,

Just following the Lord.

His speech is soft and gentle;

He raises not his voice,

Except to cry against the wrong,

And then he has no choice.

Never got a lot of learning,

From colleges and school;

But he knows what is important,

And he's sure nobody's fool.

For the knowledge he is given

Is Eternal from above;

He has no creed, except our Christ,

No law but Sovereign Love,

There was no great announcement

To his lowly, humble birth,

But to us he is the greatest man

Who lives upon the earth.

We count it more than privilege

To know him as a friend,

We cherish all he stands for,

And will right to the end.

He says he's not a preacher;

He's modest as can be,

But get him in the pulpit,

And it isn't hard to see.

He was foreordained a prophet,

Let men call it what they will;

God granted us great favor

When He gave us Brother Bill.”

REV.CHAP. 4 PT. 3. THRONE MERCY JUDGMENT JEFF. IN. 61-01-08

“120.All right, here was "voices." Oh, how we need in Jeffersonville thousands of lived voices, the thunder of God thundering out in sweetness, and holiness, purity, undefiled lives, walking around in the earth today without a blemish. Yes, sir, real Christians, that's thunder against the enemy. The Devil don't care how loud you can holler; the Devil don't care how much you can jump, how much you can do this or shout. But what hurts the Devil is to see that sanctified, holy life consecrated to God; say anything to him, call him anything, just as sweet as it can be and move right on. Oh, my. That throws him away; that's the thunder that shakes the Devil.

(B). ANOTHER THE TESTIMONY OF THOSE ACROSS THE CURTAIN OF TIME.

PERGAMEAN CHURCH AGE. JEFF. IN 60-12-07

300I said, "I want to see Him."

Said, "You can't see Him now," but said, "soon He will come. We're waiting for Him. But when He comes, He will come to you first. And you'll be judged according to the Gospel you preached, and we will be your subjects."

"Well," I said, "you mean I'm responsible for all these?"

"All of us."

I said, "Well, will every one..."

He said, "You were borned a leader."

And I said, "Well, will everyone be responsible?"

He said, "Every leader."

I said, "What about Saint Paul?"

Said, "He'll be responsible for his age."

"Well," I said, "I preached the same Gospel he did."

And millions of voices raised, said, "We are resting upon that." See? There you are, "resting."

So the angel of God, the messenger to the church, is responsible if he preaches not the Word. All right.

ADOPTION JEFF. IN 60-05-22.

“ ... That Voice said, "This is perfect love, and everything that you ever loved and everything that ever loved you is here with you now."

"And you'll present us to the Lord Jesus when He comes, as trophies of your ministry."

I seen those beautiful women standing there, all grabbing me and screaming, "My precious, darling brother."

Seen those man with that shaggy hair around their neck here, running, grabbing me, and saying, "Our darling brother."

And I thought, "What does this mean?"

He said, "They're your people."

I said, "My people? There couldn't be that many Branhams; there's millions..."

He said, "They're your converts." Hallelujah. "They are your converts. They're the ones that..." Said, "You see that one standing there?" The most beautiful woman I ever seen... Said, "She was a past ninety years old when you led her to God. No wonder she's crying, 'My darling brother.'" Said, "She'll never be old no more. She's passed from that. She's in the splendor of youth. She's standing here. She can't drink a cold drink of water; she don't need it. She can't lay down and sleep, 'cause she don't get tired. There's no tomorrow, no yesterday, nor nothing. We're in eternity now. But some glorious day the Son of God shall come, and you will be judged according to the Word that you preached to them."

Oh, brother, I said, "Will Paul have to bring his group?"

"Yes, sir."

I said, "I preached It just exactly like Paul said It. I never divvied; I never took into any church creeds or anything else. I stayed the same."

And all of them screamed with one accord, "We know that. We're resting with assurance." Said, "You will present us to Him, and then we'll all go back to earth again to live forever." Oh, my.

Paul the Apostle said: [2Cor.11:1]“Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.”

He also said: “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.”

Brother Branham Said: "I preached It just exactly like Paul said It. I never divvied; I never took into any church creeds or anything else. I stayed the same."

I believe our beloved and precious brother William Marrion Branham has this testimony,

[The Poem], by those who are on this side of paradise and those on the other side [Curtain of Time], because he stayed true to his calling.

From the Poem:

  • He did not seek for fame. He took note of Balaam and his desires
  • He did not want to make a name out of his success. He took note of Nimrod, and his desire.
  • He lived what he preached. He took note of Paul’s warning in [Rom.2:17-24]
  • He never got lifted up in his heart. He took notice of what happened to Lucifer in heaven.
  • He humbled himself daily. He looked to Jesus as his example.
  • He almost resigned from the ministry. It was his best way to keep the overzealous from their own error, and from putting him into trouble with The God, who sent him.
  • He never wanted popularity. Rather, he demonstrated a more victorious life without it.
  • He was obedient to what he was supposed to say, and remained silent where he was forbidden.
  • He did not seek the praise of men, yet he praised every other minister and esteemed them high.
  • He was the ripened sheaf in this age. He was waved over us, so that many more lived voices of that kind may be made manifest in this age.
  • Why did he succeed? Because he depended and waited on The Lord Jesus Christ all the time
  • Can we be lived Voices of our time? Yes we can. Let Christ the hope of Glory be in you richly.
