130Three things happen, a voice--a shout, a voice, a trumpet, has to happen before Jesus appears. Now, a shout. Jesus does all three of them when He's--He's--He's descending. A "shout," what is a "shout"? It's the Message going forth first, the living Bread of Life bringing forth the Bride.

Now, God has a way of doing things, and He never changes His policy. He never changes His... He's the unchanging God. In Amos 3:7 He said He would do nothing on the earthuntil first He revealed it to His servants the prophets. And just as certain as He promised it, He'll do it.

132Now, we've come through the church ages, but we're promised in the last days according to Malachi 4 that there would be a return again, a prophet in the land. That's right. Notice his nature and what he would be like. He's... Oh, he... God uses that spirit five times: once in Elijah, in Elisha, and John the Baptist, call out the church, and the remnant of the Jews; five times, grace, J-e-s-u-s, f-a-i-t-h, and it's the number of grace. See? All right.

THE VOICE IS FOR THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD IN CHRIST

149 Notice now, let's see what was this:

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one set upon it, upon the throne.

There was a voice that called him. Oh, that voice. Oh, I can't get away from that, that voice of that One behind him. Then he looked around there, and He showed him all the church ages, 'cause he was standing in the church ages, the seven golden candlesticks. Then he heard that voice after the church ages had ceased, that voice left the earth, went up. When He got into glory, he heard Him say, "Come up here. I'm going to show you what's going to happen from hereafter." Oh, my.

150 That voice... Let's speak on that voice a minute. I got some Scriptures wrote down here. Let's go to I Thessalonians 4, and just listen over here what this voice is going to say. Oh, we all know what it's going to say, without--'fore we read it, don't we? We know what's going to happen. "The trumpet of God shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise." Is that right? You who are putting it down, in 1Thessalonians 4:16 and 17, "the voice."That voice was the voice of Christ. Is that right? The voice of Christ.

... for the trumpet of God shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

... we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them... to meet the Lord in the air: and forever be with the Lord.

151The same voice that summoned John, "Come up," the same voice that said to John, "Come up,"is the same voice that'll summons the church someday (Amen.), summons the church.

Also, the same voice that summoned John to come up, is the same voice that summoned dead Lazarus out of the grave, that same voice of the archangel. Christ is the voice of the archangel, "voice of the archangel." See? Oh, that trumpet voice of Christ summoned John to come up, the same voice summoned Lazarus. Did you notice at the grave of Lazarus, He spoke with a loud voice. (Not just said, "Lazarus, come forth." [Brother Branham imitates weakness--Ed.]) "Lazarus, come forth!" It summoned him from the dead.

And he answered, "Here am I." And he come from the dead, after he was dead and his body rotten.

“154That same voice said to John, "Come up here; I'll show you some things that's fixing to happen."

That same voice that shall sound when the dead in Christ rise, "For the trumpet..."

The trumpet... What is a trumpet? The voice of Christ, the same One sounded and summoned him up. He heard the voice like a trumpet sound and said, "Come up hither." See how the resurrection will be? It'll be in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. That clear sounding voice, and He'll summons the church, calling, "Come out of it." That great summonsing voice, God, help me to hear it that day.”

So, the “SHOUT” is the End Time Message which has already gone forth, fulfilled through [Mal.4: 5-6].

The “VOICE” is yet a future event for the resurrection of the dead in Christ. Jesus calls them for rapture.

The “TRUMPET” is also another future event. It is the summonsing up into the air for the rapture

DID YOU KNOW WHAT IDOLATORY INCLUDES?

And no wonder people loved to come to Jerusalem, because they had everything in common. They worshipped under one supreme sacrifice, the shed blood of the lamb, the burnt offering, and everyone having fellowship.

“E-37. Now, that's a wonderful thing, but yet in having that, many times the people stray awayand they make an idol out of the very thing that God has ordained. Do you believe that?

Look at the serpent, the brass serpent in the wilderness. Did you know the prophet had to tear that serpent to pieces? Why? Because the people were worshipping the serpent. And they made an idol out of it. Do you believe you can do that today? You can make an idol outof your church. You can make an idol out of your pastor. You can make an idol out of an evangelist. And I'm afraid that that's what a whole lot of it's being done. They idolize the man.”

So watch out that you do not idolize:

-Your city, [“neither in Jerusalem nor on this mountain”. Jn.4:21-24 ], “butin spirit and in truth”

-Your Assembly/Church,

-Your Pastor,

-Your Evangelist, or

-Any other man. (That is a warning through Mal.4:5-6)

No matter what they teach or think, somebody will listen to them. And it's a day that the prophets spoke of.

People, when they're hungry,they'll eat from anywhere. If children and people are starving, they'll eat from a garbage can that once eat from a nice table. But if they are hungry, they'll eat somewhere. So I think real true ministers of the Gospel ought to be up and going, ought to be giving the people the right things: meat in due season.” End of quote

We have “a full square meal, the full seven course menu,” through Mal. 4.

ARE WE MINISTERS STILL OPERATING IN OUR GOD-GIVEN BRACKET? OR HAVE SOME ZEALOTS IDOLIZEDUS?

23If there's anything that has been in my heart to do, was to hear those Words of our Lord Jesus at the end of this journey, to say, "It was well done, My good and faithful servant." And many times I have said I'd like to have been standing there when He said, "Come unto Me"; but I did desire to hear it say, "Well done." That I did not hear the voice in the original say, "Come unto Me," back in the times of the writing of the Bible; but I do desire to hear it say, "Well done."

And if anything I always wanted to be, and desires of my heart to be, was a true servant to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour. I want my testimony to be clean, clear cut, that I stood, in all my mistakes I yet loved Him with all my heart. And I do that this morning with all my heart.

And because of that, it forces me to say I am leaving the ministry, is because that there's something arose up amongst the people that's caused me to do it; that is, that I have been taken from my bracket of a minister or a brother and being called Jesus Christ, and so call... And that would brand me as an antichrist. And I'll meet God as a quitter before I would meet Him as an antichrist to take away from Him

And each time, if you who take the tapes and listen, and I hope and trust that--that you have had a spiritual understanding of what that God has been in trying to get over to the church without saying it right out. See? It's a thing sometime... We have to say things in such a way that it might thin down, it might bring some to go out, some to leave, and some to ponder over. But that's done purposely. It must be done that way.

23Then it might be that some would say, "You mean God would purposely do a thing like that?" He certainly did. He does yet.

He said one day, when He had thousands around Him; He said, "Except you eat of the flesh of the Son of God, Son of man, and drink His Blood, you have no Life in you."

What kind of a statement do you think that a medical doctor or a nurse, or any fine intellectual person would think of a statement like that, for a Man that had a ministry like He had? Why, he would say, "Eat the flesh? That's cannibal. To drink human blood, it's a vampire. In other words, He wants us to be cannibals and vampires." And the whole audience walked away from Him.

Think about what the Prophet said in the above quote:

Take note that God allowed the prophet to say things in such a way that:

  vIt might thin down

  vIt might bring some to go out,

  vSome to leave, and

  vSome to--to--to ponder over.

The prophet also said that:

  vIt was done purposely.

  vIt must be done that way.

  vJesus certainly did it in His day.

  vHe does yet.

Shouldn`t that sober us up about trying to put our explanations and interpretations to things spoken for these purposes? How about this?

“It may be time. It may be the hour now that this great person that we're expecting to rise on the scene may rise on the scene. Maybe this ministry that I have tried to take people back to the Word has laid a foundation; and if it has, I'll be leaving you for good. There won't be two of us here the same time. See? If it is, he will increase, I'll decrease. I don't know.”

  vHow many have thin themselves out by this statement?

  vHow many have claimed this is about them and gone out into a camp?

Don’t forget this scripture warn: [Acts. 13:40]

“Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets”

When we neglect to pay attention to the very warnings our prophet messenger gave us and listen to our own self appointed, man approved ministers, how shall we escape being:

  vThinned down?

  vBrought to go out?

  vDetoured to leave while some ponder over it?

This misunderstanding is not a new thing. The believers and those 12 disciples fell into the same error but corrected themselves right away.

[Jn. 21:20-24]

“Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall] this man do?

Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?”
