GOD’S FATHERLY COUNSEL TO RULERS ON EARTH:

[BELEVERS; UNBELIEVERS; ATHEIST OR AGNOSTICS]

ALL WHO HOLD RULERSHIP POSITION OR AUTHORITY AND POWER OVER OTHER FELLOW HUMANS

[PSALMS 2:1-12]

1   Why do The Heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?

2    The Kings of the earth set themselves, and The Rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and         against his anointed, [saying],

3    Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4    He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.

5    Then SHALL HE speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6    Yet have I set MY KINGupon my holy hill of Zion.

7    I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten           thee.

8    Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the        earth for thy possession.

9    Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; THOU shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10  Be wise now therefore, O YE KINGS: be instructed, YE JUDGES of the earth.

11    Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12  KISS THE SON, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] ALL THEY that put their trust in him.

LESSON FROM THE EXPERINCE OF KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR:

[DANIEL 4:33-35]

33    The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' [feathers], and his nails like birds' claws.

34    And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessedTHE MOST HIGH, and I praised and honoured HIM that liveth for ever, whose DOMINION [is] an everlasting dominion, and HIS KINGDOM [is] from generation to generation:

35    And ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH [are] reputed as nothing: and HEdoeth according to HIS WILL in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, what doest THOU?

GOD IS NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANY ONE OF US IN ALL HIS MATTERS

 [JOB 33:12-13]

12    Behold, [in] this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

13    Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

BUT YOU WILL GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF YOUR THOUGHTS, WORDS AND ACTIONS ON JUDGMENT DAY

[MATTHEW 12:36-37]

36    But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37    For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

AS GOD CHANGES SEASONS, SO DOES HE REMOVE AND SETS UP KINGS:

[DANIEL 2:21]

21    And HE changeth the times and the seasons: HE removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

We then should honour and respect rulers whom God has allowed into position of responsibility, power and authority as indicated by Apostle Paul:

[ROMANS 13:5-7]

5    Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

6    For, for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are GOD'S MINISTERS, attending continually upon this very thing.

7    Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute [is due]; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 

KNOW THIS TOO: [DANIEL 4:17]

“17 ... that THE MOST HIGH RULETH in the kingdom of men, and GIVETH IT to whomsoever he will, and SETTETH UP OVER IT the basest of men.

RULERS THAT ARE IN PLACE, THEN OR NOW, ARE ORDAINED OF GOD TO FULFILL HIS PURPOSE:

1. PHARAOH: [EXODUS 9:15-16]

15    For now I WILL STRETCH OUT MY HAND, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.

16    And in very deed for this [cause] have I RAISED THEE UP, for to shew [in] thee MY POWER; and that MY NAME may be declared throughout all the earth.

2. NEBUCHADNEZZAR: [JEREMIAH 27:5-9]

5   I HAVE MADE the earth, the man and the beast that [are] upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet UNTO ME.

6    And NOW HAVE I GIVEN all these lands into the hand of NEBUCHADNEZZAR the king of Babylon, MY SERVANT; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.

7    And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.

8    And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same NEBUCHADNEZZAR THE KING OF BABYLON, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I HAVE consumed them by his hand.

9    Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

3. THE 10 KINGS WHICH ARE YET TO ARISE:

[REVELATION 17:12-13] ; [16-17]

12    And THE TEN HORNS which thou sawest are TEN KINGS, which have received no kingdom as yet; but RECEIVE POWER AS KINGS one hour with THE BEAST.

13    These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto THE BEAST.

16    And THE TEN HORNS which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

17    For GOD HATH PUT IN THEIR HEARTS to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom UNTO THE BEAST, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

We are called to pray for rulers because they are not aware of the power behind their actions and decisions. In fact the whole world does not even know that Satan is behind the chaos dogging their socio-economic, and pseudo-religious and political system. For some peace to be available in the world, this is what Christians are called to do: [I TIMOTHY 2:1-6]

1   I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be       made for ALL MEN;

2    For KINGS, and [for] ALL THAT ARE IN AUTHORITY; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all       godliness and honesty.

3    For this [is] good and acceptable in the sight of GOD OUR SAVIOUR;

4    Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

5    For [there is] ONE GOD, and ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS;

6    Who gave himself a ransom FOR ALL, to be testified in due time.

Let us therefore take this commission seriously. The days are evil. See what Satan is doing with people in high places of responsibility, in national economies, in Educational systems, in Politics, in The Sphere of religion; Even in The End Time Message, in Families, etc. We have the answer to that: PRAYER!
