BIBLICAL SIGNS AND INDICATORS.

Dear reader, I thought of sharing this subject with you in a very simple presentation, to make you go back to your bible and study and check yourself against the time we are living in with the view to ensure you are making ready for his coming. For convenience and ease to remember, I have divided these indicators into three categories as stated in the scripture texts chosen:

(A). Some of these signs are to make us Know, that it is near, even at the door

[MATTHEW 24:32-33]

32    Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:

33    So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.

Israel is that Fig Tree. It is one of those signs for the ready Gentile Bride. Its existence is our time piece. It tells us about how close his coming is.

 

[LUKE 21:25-28]

25    And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the seaand the waves roaring;

26    Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27    And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28    And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

 

(B).Some of them are said to be indicators for the Beginning of sorrows: [MATTHEW 24:6-7]

6    And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7    For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8    All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.

 

The first exodus from Egypt to the Promised Land was preceded by suffering, anguish distress and sorrow which led them to cry and to pray and to desire to go away. It is still the same Devil behind our today’s task masters who want us to work 24/7, so that we don’t have time for God’s Word, and to worship. He is trying hard to phase out prayer in our lives and fellowship.

 

The circumstances will be the same in this third Exodus.  These everyday demands of daily living will force you to pray if you have become a prayerless Christian.

 

(C).This third category clearly says, then shall the end come.

[MATTHEW 24:14]

14    And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

 

There will not be anybody who will have an excuse of having not heard about JESUS CHRIST. All NATIONS SHALL HEAR THIS GOSPEL. God will have been just and fair to every individual and nation. There will be NO EXCUSES. Do not turn away your opportunity. You may not have another.

 

To hasten His coming, therefore let us make this Gospel known to our next neighbour, workmate, aeroplane travel mate, the on the phone telephone business-caller, same bus rider, Etc. At least, let them hear for a witness, if they won’t believe it.

OTHER SIGNS:

The repeat of the behaviour in Noah and Lot’s days: [Gen 6:1-End]

“POPULATION INCREASE” sign; and “MORAL DECAY OF SOCIETY” sign:

Increase in population of most nations and scarcity of food, services, land etc, has often led to violent struggles, both nationally and internationally. Efforts to bring peace in regions destabilized by this factor hardly achieves  anything.

[GENESIS 6:1-2]

1    And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2    That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

 

Society is increasingly allowing Promiscuous and other vile life styles living, contrary to God’s Word. Repeated occurrence of Marriage and divorce is on the increase and it is being accepted as a norm.

 

CONTINUAL RISE OF EVIL IMAGINATIONS SIGN.  [ECCLESIATES 7:29] Says: “Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.” We see it in violence in families, and among nations, etc. Manifestation of corrupt living among humans, in Noah’s days had become a stench in God’s nostril until he could not stand it any longer. It made God to wipe out sin and sinners, by flood. This time it will be by fire.

 

BEING CONSUMED AND OVERTAKEN BY THE CARES OF THIS LIFE

[LUKE 17:28]

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

 

Nothing was wrong about these, but it was done to the negligence of knowing God’s coming judgment and his provided way of escape. When judgment came, they were taken unawares and missed God’s provided way of escape. Likewise, this time, his coming is going to be preceded by indicator prophecies: Be reminded of some of them:

 

1.Scoffers rising to challenge and to question these prophecies [2Pet 3:1-4]. They do it for Self consolation that nothing has happened yet since these prophecies were spoken.

2.False Christs (anointed ones) rising on the scene and actually doing mighty works, signs and wonders but for deception.  They will not preach the entire Gospel, but will compromise some truth and cut corners to avoid “offending church members”. They will make merchandise of their congregation, by putting more emphasis on material prosperity instead of spiritual aspect.

3.Manifestation of Perilous times over the world. There is too much peril on earth today than ever. Perils from both, natural and manmade disasters.

4.Sign of unprecedented Disobedience among children to their parents. It is the spirit of the age.

As it was done unto Israel, so shall it be done to the whole world in the last days: [Isaiah 3:4]

“And I will give children [to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.”

God allows us to feel the disobedience of our own children so that we can understand how he feels about us disobeying Him. When we see a disobedient generation of children, it is a reflection of what we are today, to our Heavenly, God.

 

5.Manifestation and fulfilment of the office of the prophet of Mal 4:5-6. Many have claimed and some are still claiming to be the fulfilment of this prophecy. But the truth is that one man, WILLIAM MARRION BRANHAM, was the one and only scripturally and thoroughly vindicated manifestation of this prophecy. The faith of the Fathers has truly been restored to the children.

6.Rise of Jannes and Jambres impersonators of the works of the Prophet of Mal 4:5-6. As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses in Egypt, during the first Exodus, we have witnessed a barrage of opposition and the rise of impersonators of what Bro. WILLIAM BRANHAM did during his ministry for the fulfilment of the third Exodus.

7.Increase in knowledge as prophesied by Prophet Daniel. Some good benefits have been gained by the increase in knowledge, but it has also brought along with it a lot of adverse effects on man, on animals and their on his environment.

8.End of control of Jerusalem by Gentiles, as declared by Jesus Christ Himself. [LUKE 21:24]

“And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” The world may not understand the significance of The Jews regaining their Land, and Jerusalem, falling back into their hands again, but the believer of God’s Word, The Bible does. Israel is the only nation on the face of the entire earth, whose boundaries were determined, and declared by God Himself: [GENESIS 15:18]

 

“In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: “

 

[JOSHUA 1:3-6]

1. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
2. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
3. 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, [so] I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
4. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Trying to alter those boundaries is like telling God to break his own oath, and change his covenant. Is the United Nation or any army in the world able to make God yield to their desire? It is a hard thing to kick against pricks.

 

9.Falling away of Make-believers from their Present Day Truth. The cause of the falling away is diverse. Some will depart from truth to fables. Some will have spiritual shipwreck like Hymenaeus and Philetus, and Alexander. Some will conceive iniquity in their hearts and their love for God will grow cold. Some will begin to think of themselves more highly than what they are. Spiritual Pride will make some haughty, and high minded, thereby causing them to fall.

10.The opening and revealing of The Seven Seals of The Book of Revelation. Only the elect will catch the revelation and through it, they will receive Rapturing grace for Rapturing faith for the catching away.

11.Manifestation of the Discernment sign to the Gentiles according to Luke 17:30. Jesus manifested “discernment”; The sign of the Messiah to the Jews and to the Samaritans, but not to the Gentiles. Through Mal. 4:5-6, this End Time Sign has now been fulfilled. I hope you caught it.

12.Sodom and Gomorrah condition has to repeat on earth one more time. [LUKE 17:28-29]

“28    Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

1. 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all.

The earth is ripe for God’s judgment again, and for the final time. Those things were written to us for our learning and admonition, so that we may know how to respond to God’s demands.

13.The taking away from the scene, of The 3 Head Seed Planters, before the burning of Sodom and Gomorrah. Three Seeds have been planted: THE DENOMINATIONAL SEED; THE PENTECOSTAL SEED, and The UNADULTERATED WORD OF GOD. They are now ripe and ready for harvest. Their fruit, now, tells what they are, that is, their respective denominational teachings and their life.

14.Increased frequency and magnitude of earthquakes in diverse places is a sign of labour pain for the birth of the new earth. The frequency and the intensity tell us that his coming is very close.

15.Revealing of the man of sin, [666] [Rev 13:18]; and [2Thes 2:3]. As Jesus is now fully revealed and clearly understood, so is Satan fully exposed and his fate clearly understood and determined by the revealed Word. His total destruction is the next most pleasant thing the Bride is looking forward to, apart from the catching away of the Bride.

 

It is needful for us to keep reminding ourselves about these indicators.  Our Lord Jesus Christ, and His Disciples gave them to us so that we can watch and pray. He is not willing that anybody should perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth and to repentance. Check up, and straighten up. God Bless you.
